Editorial assistance
AI may assist with research preparation, outlines, language editing, transcription, translation or organising material. Its output can contain errors. Facts, quotations, references and conclusions require appropriate review before publication.
Images and synthetic media
AI-generated illustrations should be identified where relevant. An illustration must not be presented as documentary evidence of a real event. We do not use synthetic quotations or impersonations as genuine statements.
Transparency and commercial content
Editorial articles, opinion and third-party announcements have different purposes. Sponsored and promotional material should be clearly labelled. AI assistance does not remove the need to disclose a commercial relationship.
