Choose a learning goal
Begin with a specific concept or skill. Explain your level and what you already understand. Ask for an explanation, then restate it in your own words and check it against your notes or textbook.
Practise recalling and applying knowledge
Turn your own material into questions or flashcards. Attempt an answer before asking for feedback. For worked problems, explain each step yourself instead of copying a finished solution.
Check summaries and explanations
Compare generated summaries with the original material. Verify quotations, references and calculations. Keep track of uncertain points to discuss with a teacher or another qualified source.
Work within your course rules
Check which forms of AI assistance your course allows. Keep a record of your own work and any assistance used. Avoid sharing other people’s personal information or restricted course material without permission.
